9 Tricks and Hacks Everyone Should Know

Today I want to show you 9 computer hacks that are really important in our daily computer/mobile usage. Using these hacks will save you a lot of time and make you stress free. On top of that, it will make you look like a genius among your buddies! So, Let’s start:

1.       Did you know?

If you download a “PDF” file and you see it ends in “.exe” delete it. It’s a virus.

2.      Did you Know?

If the WIFI at an airport/hotel costs money, add “?.jpg”at the end of any URL (they usually don’t redirect images).

3.      Did you Know?

If you want to download a YouTube video, just add “ss” to the URL between www. and YouTube. If you are on mobile and the URL has m.youtube, delete “m.” and replace it with “ss” e.g. www.ssyoutube........

4.      Did you Know?

Accidently closed a Word file without saving? No auto-save either? Search .asd into file explorer under “my pc”. The document will be there. Windows has your back!

5.      Did you Know?

How to make an essay longer: hit CTRL + F, search “.” And change the font size of the periods 12 to 14. They look exactly the same, but will make your paper significantly longer!

6.      Did you Know?

Highlight a selection in Word and hit shift + F3 to make it all caps or all lowercase.

7.       Did you Know?

When you copy something from the internet, use CTRL + shift + V to paste it. This will prevent the text from formatting.

8.      Did you Know?

Save your PowerPoint presentations as a “.ppsx” (PowerPoint Show) and it will open directly to the slideshow.

9.      Did you Know?

Hit alt and click on any Google image to have it automatically saved to your computer.
